Jelte Rozema (links) en Stef Weijers (rechts) zittend voor London 2. Van 3 tot 7 juni zijn ze in het Nederlands Poolstation geweest om
hun langlopend experiment weer in het veld op te bouwen. Ze plaatsen kleine kasjes (open top chambres) op de toendra en kijken naar de reactie van de planten, met name van houtige gewassen.
Eerdere weblogs waarin hun onderzoek aan bot kwam zijn: 20050611 start of the season 2005 20090604 de opening 20090624 open top kamers met een video Er lag nog redelijk wat sneeuw zoals te zien is met de webcam van het Sverdrup station op de Zeppelinberg (foto links). Ze hebben 5 kasjes nog niet kunnen plaatsen. Dat doe ik volgende week, als ik zelf een week op het Poolstation ben. |
