Studies the local Barnacle Goose population since 1989. My present research covers the whole ecosystem around the geese. From the plants that the geese eat to the arctic foxes which predate on the geese.
At present, apart from monitoring I am international coördinator of the IPY-project BIRDHEALTH, studying the role of diseases in birds.
Father of two children. I designed and programmed this webpage.
