26 June 2006, 17:00 222 I had hoped to have a year without polar foxes. They have a tremendous effect on the goose population and have eaten almost all goslings in the last 5 years. The warm winter and the lack of ice should have caused them difficulty. However, there is a den again next to our hut and Nick Cox has counted seven puppies. |
