Making shade in the Arctic | 16 July 2021 |
A contribution by Mo Verhoeven This summer, we are studying the effect of cloud cover on grass production. On the first photo you can see the experimental clouds and on the second you can observe the current trend: longer leaves in the clouded plots. Is this because of light stress or because the clouds keep the grass warm? I have my guess, but the lab analysis will have to tell. | |
