We wonen hier in een heel mooi fjord. Hoewel de gletsjers zich terugtrekken uit het fjord en steeds minder hoog worden, blijft het landschap heel indrukwekkend. Dit is het uitzicht uit ons station richting het westen. Jon Leithe maakte deze panoramafoto en stuurde hem naar mij. Je zit nog enkele ganzen in het meer Solvatn (zonmeer) en een groot mannelijk rendier herkauwend op de oever. dat rendier heeft net allemaal keutels gegeten van ganzen die weer gras aten.
