De Nederlandse journalist en ornitholoog Jan P.Strijbos was in 1939 en 1956 in Kongsfjord om foto's te maken van broedende vogels. Hij beleefde een bijzonder avontuur toen zijn kano wegspoelde en hij meerdere gletsjers moest oversteken om weer terug te komen in de bewoonde wereld. Ruud Vlek en Hetty Litjens hebben een video gemaakt op basis van historisch materiaal. | |
