| We hebben 4 dagen Kadir van Lohuizen op bezoek. Deze Amsterdammer bereist de hele wereld om maatschappelijk geëngageerde fotoreportages te maken. Hij heeft een prijs gewonnen met zijn voorstel om een reportage te maken van de veranderende noordpool. Hij is al in Alaska, Resolute Bay en op de Canadese ijsbreker Amundsen geweest. Nu Ny-Ålesund en daarna naar Groenland met een bezoek aan de locatie waarin een diepe ijskern geboord wordt in de ijskap voor klimaatreconstructie. Vandaag vaart Rudolf Denkmann ons door het hele fjord en bezoeken we verschillende gletsjerfronten. Er is veel minder ijs dan tijdens de laatste fjordtelling en bij drie van de vijf gletsjers zien we rond de 500 drieteenmeeuwen fourageren in de gletsjerrivier. | |
