| Vandaag ronden we het aquariumexperiment af. Dit was de derde poging en deze keer verliep alles voorbeeldig. Eerder waren de hoeveelheden keutels per mesocosm te hoog en gingen alle daphnia dood. | |

Twee foto's van verschillende behandelingen. Links vier potten met alleen fytoplankton, rechts 4 potten met fyto- en zooplankton. Per foto van links naar rechts 0, 1, 2 en 3 gram keutels toegevoegd. Catharina neemt gestandaardiseerd monsters uit iedere pot. | |

Tessa conserveert het plankton met lugol voor microscopische analyse.

Van alle potten worden ook zooplankton monsters genomen en het water wordt gefilterd oor nutrientanalyse.
